Jeremy DesmonJeremy Desmon (Librettist & Lyricist) is an award-winning musical theatre bookwriter and lyricist whose stories have played to audiences around the world. 

The Girl in the Frame, with over a dozen productions worldwide, earned him the prestigious Edward Kleban Prize as America’s most promising musical theatre bookwriter. Jeremy’s lauded “revisal” of the classic musical comedy Good News, recently opened Goodspeed Opera House’s 50th Season. Pump Up The Volume, his rock musical adaptation of the 1990 Christian Slater film, is in development with Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre. Also, in development: The Oliver Experiment, a ground-breaking new musical with composer Jeff Thomson; plus, a commission to write the upcoming Broadway musical for Simon & Schuster’s iconic sleuth, Nancy Drew.

Other credits include Cyrano de BurgerShack (50+ productions), Surviving The Avalanche (Barrington Stage), Virtually Me(TheatreworksUSA), and I See London, I See France (NYMF). Jeremy is also the author of the high-concept non-musical comedies, 7½ Wondrous Act(s) of True Love (Midtown Direct Rep) and Mudd, a new historical comedy about the Lincoln assassination.

Additionally, Jeremy writes “family theatrical” touring arena shows for some of the world’s most recognizable characters, including monkeys (Universal’s Curious George: The Golden Meatball), mice (Disney Live’s Mickey's Music Festival!), monsters (Sesame Workshop’s Elmo Rocks!) and elephants (multiple editions of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus). Oh yeah, and Disney On Ice’s Rockin' Ever After.

Jeremy is an alum of Stanford University (BA) and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (MFA). He teaches a musical theatre writing workshop at Princeton University and is a former Jonathan Larson Fellow with the Dramatists Guild for his work as a lyricist. 

Jeremy lives in Manhattan, just around the corner from that Starbucks.

John KavanaughJohn Kavanaugh (Composer) is currently serving as songwriter/musical director for Disney's brand new princess, Sofia the First. He took home the Daytime Emmy Award® for Outstanding Song: Main Title for Sofia the First. His music can also be heard in several animated features Disney’s hit Winnie the Pooh Movie, Springtime with Roo, and the Nickelodeon musical, Globe Hunters, and Around the World in 80 Days Adventure, which includes the song “Be Where You Are” featuring Chaka Kahn. With lyricist Marcy Heisler, John wrote "Joseph’s Lullaby" especially for Michael Crawford, featured on Crawford’s album On Eagle’s Wings for Atlantic Records. He wrote music and lyrics to the theme for the 2003 Special Olympics, "You’re the Dream" recorded by the Walt Disney Records star Myra, and has written songs for the award winning television show Sesame Street.
